I think this may be one of the greatest updates ever (possibly 2nd after Nicholas, Menagerie, ZQuests).

From the game updates:

Quote:
Festival map decorations no longer require a build and will automatically switch when the festival begins.
Should be interesting to see things go poof! Or more likely, when you zone in after that time it'll be all new and people still in zone will see the normal stuff.

Over all this was a fantastic update. The changes to the henchies as well as the updates to the Underworld are great and Codex Arena is also fantastic but I just wish it was slightly different. I don't know about your experiences with it but from the few rounds which I have played, I have found that it has already reached the point where certain players demand a particular build for each class. I know the skills change each day but I imagined the arena as being a place where you could just entire a match similar to RA with what ever build you could make from the selected skills. For me it's not so much fun having to join a group (which took time away from actually playing the game type) only to find I have the "wrong build" and have to give in to the build of the day for that class. As a whole, the Codex Arena is great but they're the problems I have with it personally so far.

From the GW.com page about halloween

Quote:
Friday, October 23: The Halloween celebration begins at Noon Pacific time! The cities of Lion's Arch and Kamadan and the towns of Droknar's Forge and the Tomb of the Primeval Kings are decorated with dreadful décor.
More details are there

'Ere we are.

Good job, Anet.
Although I won't hold my breath, from here on, I'm looking forward to a better future for the game.

Is it true one of the ritualist henchman has 19 in an attribute while in hardmode? That sounds really lulz...

On the upside, Devona is now a KD-spammer (AoE in Prophecies, even) and Talon has that chain-dslash build (no SY! spam though for obvious reasons), so I guess they just became good at something else ...

A good update indeed - should make soloing & particularly vanquishing Prophecies rather more fun.

E/Mo on Henchmen? W/R henchmen? SORCERY! SORCERY, I SAY!!

Man, now to learn all those new bars... At least now I can make a decent team build with heroes and henches.

Also, removal of TA and HB in favor of a sealed deck arena - YAAAY!

Not a bad update in my opinion.

Anet deserves a frosted cookie for their hard work.
